Songs featured this time are ‘A Voz do Morro’ from Zé Renato, 1955, ‘Vida no Morro’ from Anibal Cruz, 1942 and ‘Sei la Mangueira’ from Paulinho da Viola e hermÃnio Bello de Carvalho, 1970. I’ve chosen them to give you an idea of the correlation between samba and favela.
