I am julakim, an architect, a singer, a woman, a traveller, a deliberator, a let’s go somewhere and get imbued/inspired … well let’s simply sum it up as a human being with open senses.
In all my projects of architecture I was guided by communication. communication? can be music, film, theatre, social exchange, dance, community spirit, art, etc. In all my projects of communication I was working with my craft achieved during my studies of architecture architecture? I do include urbanism. I have to admit that their relation is an inspiring drug.
While travelling and talking to others I noticed that this is not only my interest, but a lot of others have been investing in this relationship.
Architecture is having a relationship with communications? What a funny idea. Exploring my blog you see that there are so many ways to come to know this very (inter)active world of immobile but touchable architecture and untouchable but mobile communication. And I believe that one can’t exist without the other.

I started my blog ar2com exactly for that reason.
I hope that you will enjoy it. I made it for pleasure. (That’s why it is advertisement-free!).

Something about the structure.
Main theme is ar2com which is quite vague. But I like to show the variety of it. For a better research you might visit the page Interesting Keywods or use the search function in the sidebar. Another way to explore around are the categories which you will find as well on the sidebar.
One big chapter is ‘RadioFavela – The Sound of Rio’ examining how music is making urbanism. It splits up into three parts: not assumable becomes consumable … becomes subsumable.
