take away spacemag
The SpaceDepartment is a think tank with 8 urban planners based in Hamburg. They have already published two SpaceMags: 01 rhythm of consumism and 02 gaffa – both in German language.
Lisa Buttenberg, who has graduated at the UHH / HafenCity Universität like all the other 8 urban planners at the SpaceDepartment, had a talk with me about their philosophies and publications.

gabi schillig
Gabi Schillig started exploring open systems inspired by Brazilian artist Lygia Clark. Her architecture for the (human) body is taking shapes with the material felt. Objects have a soul, an independent character, and they make us experiment our environment. ‘public receptors’ in New York is the urban enhancement of ‘raum Z E I T kleider’ – two projects by her.
