imPULStanz
With this podcast I am starting a series of interviews and impressions from the Impulstanz, a festival and workshop in , Austria. The first interview is with Angélique Wilkie, a singer and a dancer, who gave a workshop on ‘voice & movement’.
She makes a well better presentation of herself in the beginning of the interview.
Secondly I am giving you a first taste of the poll on ar2com. Most of my interview partners answered straight away. So in addition to written ones where you can participate you get some audio-ones during the podcast sessions. If you are interested in other answers you can soon hear more by following the tag matrix.

davey dance blog
David Fishel is a video producer from the States. Since quite a while he is dancing in urban spaces with his iPod on, publishing it in the internet at Davey Dance Blog. I thought that COOL and invited him to an interview. Since we could not meet personally the interview was made via skype and the quality is not the best.
But with all this urbanity and NOISE, I have this nice background sound from the Brazilian Jungle for you.

His three favorites clips:
The first one you can see right here the other ones please visit his website.
-38- ROCKEFELLER CENTER – Mariah Carey – “All I Want for Xmas is You”
-43- KARLSRUHE – Björk “Oh So Quiet”

Davey Dance Blog – MONT ST. MICHEL – Modest Mouse – “Float On” from Pheasant Plucker.

Rocinha's participation

Might be a strange heading, but there is something very true about it. Because it is neither money, nor the best research programs who have really changed a lot. They have created hope – yes, but where are the great results? Maybe it just takes way longer as we are expecting.
In Rio I never had the impression that there is not enough money. You get support for nearly anything if you have the connections. But everyday life with shooting and rates like civil war continue.

So getting back to my heading: Dante Quinterno, the president of TV ROC is proposing a different story. Mass weddings and mass christmas for a better inside the community? Listen to the interview to make your own opinion. But I believe that everyone needs something to compensate the civil war infront of its door (or even worse inside its house).

to be continued next monday …
